Welcome to my readme file :) This is for those of you who actually care enough about my stepfile to have a look at how it came to be... or something...

Anyway - for those of you who don't know, I'm GoGoNaoki (universal username for me on any DDR site i'm part of) and my stepfile for cheesemix is The Birdie Song by Black Lace - i'm not sure why i chose this when i had initially decided on the evidently superior Saturday Night, but there you go... Come to think of it, it was probably to do with the potential to make the cool bird in sunglasses for my background :). As a Judge (and writer of the rules) I had an obvious advantage of being able to make rules to suit my file, which i kinda didn't take by giving far too many points for graphics, which, judging by my distinct lack of photoshop skills, was a mistake...

Right - File overview time:

Song Length: 2:27 (short enough to be a single stage choice, meaning i didn't have to cut it:D )
BPM: 102
Difficulties: Light: 3
                  Standard: 7
                  Heavy: 9

I would have included doubles steps, but after doing about a third of them (challenge only because i was lazy...) i managed to cut them instead of saving the file, so that didn't get done - sorry if anyone wanted to play doubles - I might do them one day, but this was about 2 days before deadline and i really wanted to make a stepfile for Bee (from PIU, not the DDRUK member)....

Right - now to fill up the rest of my readme somehow...

*Thinks*

Hehe - i've always wanted to do that... Hopefully that'll earn me some much needed cheese points :)

Right - brief description of steps time, methinks...

Light: Basically, this is bog standard light mode steps. I gave it a three foot rating because it contained diagonal jumps and some 1/4 note jump stream things.

Standard: Because of the slow BPM, i was able to get away with streams here - this led to the 7 foot rating because I imagine standard players would find it tiring.

Heavy: This is where the file gets fun - 16th runs galore give it a (hard) 9 foot rating - much more difficult than My Summer Love (a similar BPM song), especially with the machine guns and the 32nd note 'gallops' (if konami can use pointless gallops i don't see why i cant :p) - these are quite hard to see on 1x arrow speed, but you'll notice them if you play the song on 2x.

Right... I think i've made up enough nonsense to constitute my readme - thanks for reading all this gibberish and may the best file (hopefully mine :) ) win!
